The Dronfield Arms is an independently owned free-house, situated in the heart of Dronfield, midway between Sheffield and Chesterfield. The pub was known as the Old Sidings until a change of ownership and comprehensive refurbishment programme in Summer 2011. View the gallery.

We believe ours to be a 'proper' traditional pub. We take great pride in our beer selection and we have an eclectic selection of cask ales, lager, stout, and cider for your drinking pleasure, including 3 guest ales which are rotated weekly. The fact we are not tied to a brewery or pub company means we can sell whatever beers we choose. We also offer an imaginative wine and spirit selection, and a varied choice of whiskies.

Our food menu is very simple, and designed to complement our beers. Chef Lee takes great pride in his meals. If you only want a snack, try Lee's chip butties, hand cut on site; we are confident that you will tell the difference. View Menu.

Private functions are catered for, give us a call and we will tailor a plan just for you. We also provide outside event bars, and staff, if required, for special occasions. We can also source any beer of your choice.

We accept credit/debit cards on purchases over £10. Well behaved children are welcome until 7 pm.
